Stockdale and Ludik could return for Ulster

Jacob Stockdale and Louis Ludik could return to the Ulster team for Friday's Guinness PRO14 semi-final against Glasgow.

Stockdale has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the game against Edinburgh last month, while Luidk has not featured due to a knee injury he sustained in the win over Southern Kings in March.

Both players have returned to training ahead of Friday's game but they will need to prove their fitness on Thursday before being considered for selection.

"We’ll see as the week goes on, but he’s reintegrating. We won’t really know until we select the team, but we’d be hopeful," Ulster head coach Dan McFarland said when asked about Stockdale's chances of featuring against Glasgow.

Regarding Ludik, McFarland added: "That’s another one we’ll have to see as the week goes on, but he’s made pretty steady progress so there’s potential he might be available too."
